Since 1994, the Committee for Integrity Enhancement (CIE) has bestowed Personal Integrity Awards on adult residents of Delaware County who have demonstrated high principles and good moral fiber in their daily lives and decision-making. Personal Integrity Award recipients come from all walks of life. They are not always newsmakers, community leaders, or executives; rather, they are persons who share common, admirable qualities that are far too often overlooked in our culture. As part of our annual essay contest for students, we are also looking to identify adults who strengthen our community by demonstrating strong values and the core elements of integrity (honesty, fairness, caring and respect for others, responsible citizenship, accountability).

You may use this form (2022 PIA Nomination form) to nominate a candidate for a Personal Integrity Award, someone who serves as a shining example of integrity in daily life. Nomination forms must be completed in full (including the names of two additional references we may contact) and submitted by February 1, 2022. Recipients of the 2022 Personal Integrity Award will be announced at the Committee for Integrity Enhancement’s annual celebration on Monday, April 18, 2022 at an awards reception (6:30 pm at Muncie Central Auditorium).
